hard disk failure Closed

Question

Hello, 

my 160 gb hard disk is not detected by the system .message displayed in the boot window is "booting device or external media is necessary not detected"
i.e hard disk is not detected by system,what will be the solution ?
all cable as well as other things are tested all are wright.htough not detected .what's the solution?


Configuration: Windows XP / Opera 9.80

Hi there,

You have to change the hard drive,before proceeding  check if detected on another computer .

Go to the BIOS setup, & change the disk controller setting from AHCI to IDE. might worth the try.
