WHY CANT I LOG ON TO MY LAPTOP XP?!?!

Hello, Hello I have a laptop running windows xp and ive had some malware trouble and still do pesky like thing to fix aint it? And now when i turn on my laptop i click on my login (hp owner) is says loading your personal settings then the screen flashes then it says saving your settings and gos right back to to where you choose a user. Im the only user in this laptop. Ive tried safe mode, ive tried loging into the administrator and it does the same
