Hello! Sir i have a problem in my computer hard disk before my hard disk 295gb and after install a new window ubuntu 3gb . I can explain how . When i used internet my computer windows is no use then i  install a new window (ubuntu 8.0) after instalation i am going to hard disk but my computer show only 3gb hard disk then i install other window xp sp2 and open my computer but hard disk shows only 3gb . Then i opened disk management shows 3gb c drive ntfs and 292 gb healty unknown please sir give me answer how can i use my hard disk 292gb.

Hi,

 If the file-system for the 292 GB partition is showing you unknow, it means the 

file system is not supported by the Windows. If you are about that partition that 

it doesn't contain any data, then format the partion from "Disk Management".

Click click on Start--->Run---> type diskmgmt.msc and click on OK.

Then right click on that partition --> format it.

After format --> right click on that partition and you can find the option for 

creating a new partition. Just select it and follow the instructions.
