My printer doesn't connect to my Windows 7

I have a hp windows 7 laptop and i'm trying to connect my hp photosmart c3100 to it but its not working. this keeps popping up.</gras>

Supported:wondows 98 or windows millennium edition, windows 2000, windows xp.

I think my laptop is much more updated than this printer, isn't it?
