My desktop(XP) wont connect to the internet

Hello,
Recently i turned on my computer and the internet didnt want to work. I first thought it was my service but i called and they said it was was fine. I did a system restore and cleared everything but still wont work. Ive also tried things posted like with the CMD but nothing.My router still works and have access to wifi but my desktop(XP) wont connect it says i have no service provider can anyone help??

Some tips:

- Check the network adapter driver and ensure it works well. If not, reinstall the network adapter driver.

- Ensure your XP desktop is up-to-date with latest patch (need to use Windows update)

- If it's cable connection, try to use other network cable. Maybe it's faulty cable.

- You can also try to use this ping to do more troubleshooting.
