Dell N5010 webcam driverSolved/Closed

Hello, 

I bought a Dell inspiron N5010 just a few days back.. 
I did not get it with the OS and hence got no disks with that. 
I have installed most of the drivers manually except the Integrated 1.3MP Webcam driver! 
Windows 7 has some inbuilt driver support. But it is not helping in getting it to work. 
So I needed to know from where I can get this driver? I couldn't find it in the internet.. Not even the dell support site :( 
So is there any alternate driver or any other method to make it work.. 
Any kind of suggestion would be appreciated.. :)

Hi there 

The only place you can find the driver along with software is at http://ftp.us.dell.com/monitors/ and scroll down to the middle to 

Dell_SX2210-Monitor_Webcam SW RC1.1_ R230103.exe 

There is another one also, but this worked fine for me. 
So...enjoy!

Btw cam is from Creative, not Logitech ;)

Hello Vikram,

This is the site of your webcam manufacturer. I couldn't choose which driver your webcam needs because I had 't the full information needed.

You may also t ry to run the auto detection of the drivers on this site
