Wireless button is broken..Closed

Hello, 
 
I have a gateway laptop and the side button to turn the wireless connection on is broken.. Is there any other way in which I can turn the wireless on?  Please advise... Thanks


Configuration: Windows XP / Firefox 3.6.6

Dear Giselle, 

Please consider getting to Network and sharing center and from there, select the Diagnose and repair feature in order to get the Wireless button working back properly.
