Wireless regular resetting

Since we on the router topic, i have a linksys WRT54G2 V1 and the problem is that the wireless router always need resetting (from the rear of the device) if ever i need to connect to a wireless device i.e. laptop, wifi handphone. Can this be done automatically? Being living in a 2-story house, its a hassle just to go downstairs and reset it.

there is a way of resetting it from your computer, but personally, i find it easiest to replace the wireless router....when your webpage comes up with cannot display webpage, click diagnose connection problems....
