Acer Aspire T690 XP Missing Lan Drivers!
Closed
Hello,
I recently downgrade from Vista to XP on a Acer Aspire T690 I manage to download all drivers and manage to install them without problems except the network driver. I couldn't find those in Acer's site or anywhere else for that matter and those that were supposedly the Lan Drivers on the Acer site weren't the ones or maybe they were but I couldn't install them. Please anyone who could help me reply.

Thank you.
The network drivers on the Acer website for the r1600 with Windows XP are corrupt and do not work.
I'm not the only one who struggled with this problem, but I found the solution and will share it, hoping it will resolve frustration for others. The correct drivers are found on the NVIDIA website.

Download and install. It looks a lot like the installer from Acer, except that it works.
The other answers here are generally incorrect and should be ignored.
