Module of recordset connection

Hello,
my excelenec to u
the problem is i write module using vb6 and sqlserver2000 .when i enter a value to test box to display data on listbox if it likes it it refuese connection
i.e list list1,"vewstudent","studentname","studentno" "STUDENTNAKE LIKE "AHMED''
