Alcatel VM800 - Instant messaging

Do you need the internet to use the instant messaging on the Alcatel VM800? If so does it have WI-FI? I really need to know, please help!

Hi there,

Obviously you need internet connection to use IM on the mobile,and it does not have wireless option on it.
