Asus G73JH notebook power problem Closed

Question

Hello,  

is there anybody out there has the same problem or a solution for this: 

my notebook is in low battery, and obviously it needs to be charged, but when i have plugged it in to the wall, the power supply adapter light is on but the notebook isnt charging at all. Now my notebook is out of power it wont switch on now. Battery calibration is useful but i cant get to it, if my notebook wont switch on at the first place. I really need help pls.. I want to start using my notebook again now!

Hi there,

The light may be lit on the adapter but power may be not going through,test it with another adapter if someone having same type or use a multimeter to check the output voltage,

I have the exact same problem with this laptop and got it from the store today.  Taking it back tomorrow as its defective.  This is number 2 that has been bad.

I started having the same problem tonight.  Not sure whats going on.  I use a smaller power supply and it shows charged no problem but the one that came with shows a light and does not show plugged in
