OS Installation Problem

Hello,
I have a PIII, 256 MB RAM, 80 GB HD Configured Machine,When boot from Widows XP CD, It will Starts copieng temprorary files comes and hang up in WINDOWS SETUP. After the replace of Hard disk, same problem will on screen. so please suggest me the solution.

Dear Mouli,

Please check whether the installation cd is not scratched hence causing the specific trouble.
