Computer Freezes when downloading

Hello,
I have a problem with my computer that's been happening lately after I installed the new windows 7 whenever I try to download something via torrent my computer freezes I did several virus scans with different anti-virus softweres but it didn't find anything. It started happening 2 days after the new windows installation. I tried other versions or a different program but it didn't help.
