Hello,

Major problem. Computer got unplugged while running Google Earth. It went into hibernation. When windows restarted there was a triple image of Google Earth flashing on and of diagonally from left upper to right lower screen. Then all Hell broke loose graphically. A series of colored vertical bars appeared on the creen and it went "black" - but you can tell the screen is still on.

Control-alt-delete does not help. Switching it off, taking the battery out does not help. Every time it's turned on it says "Windows resuming" and the windows screen comes up then...."black screen". The cursor is there and can be moved, even turns into a hand when moved to some places so there is a screen of some kind here, but it can't be seen.

What can I do? I just know Google Earth is messing with it somehow, but I can't shut it down to reboot it.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated, short of dragging it down to a service enter.

Michael
