Sims 2 Seasons Installation Help.

Hi.

When I finished installing the sims 2 seasons I got for my birthday, I started it up.
It got up to the scrollup string text part.

It didnt do anything there, then a box popped up that said the Applacation has crashd. it will now terminate.

How do I fix this? I will give more data if needed.

Update: I just installed the seasons patch, it didnt work :(
