FreeHideFolder Software - unhiding some files
Closed
Hello,
I have windows Xp and installed FreeHideFolder. I hid some files that were on my USB drive. I don't know how exactly this happened (my D drive is my CD drive, and my USB drive shows up as E) all the time. But now after a few months, when I go to unhide my folders, the USB drive on the FreeHideFolder software shows up as D:\folder name and I am unable to unhide the folders. I really need these folders and would appreciate your help in unhiding them.
Thank you very much.

Hello,
Try this 1.
Chang your USB drive letter and check whether you are able to access your
files. Follow the steps to change the drive letter.
1) Click on Start ---> Run ---> type diskmgmt.msc and click on OK.
2) Right-click on your "USB Drive" ----> Select "Change Drive Letter and Paths..."
----> Click on "Change" button and assign your previous USB Drive letter that is
"E" from the drop down menu ---> Click on OK ----> Click on "Yes" ---> Click on OK
Note : If drive letter "E" is already assigned to any other drive, then first
change that drive letter by following above steps and then change your usb drive
letter to E.
Good Luck.
