Sims 2 HELPP :(

Okay hey when i go on sims 2 everything works great and all
but when i go to a family it seems like they're frozen. i can make a list for them on what to do but they just stand still. I hear sounds in the backround and i can move around ad everything. but the clock is on stop and the sims wont move!
i need help :( please :D!!!!

Dear Sir,

The problem might be resulting from either your graphic card or RAM memory and hence you should have it upgraded in order to get the problem solved.
