Hello, my name is Tracy Grimo my windows installer is not working. I can't remove any programs from my control panel like Microsoft Office and quicktime. I can't run my virus scan. I went to run and typed msconfig and went to windows installer and saw that it's stopped and clicked it then clicked OK and restarted my computer and tried to uninstall Microsoft Office and it wouldn't uninstall correctly. I don't know what else to do. Can you please help me. So I can get my computer back together normally.

Hello,

Try this 1.

Click on start-->run-->type services.msc-->click on ok-->services window will be

opened--> at right side,scroll down for the windows installer---> double click on

the windows installer-->Windows Installer Properties window will be opened.

Set Startup type to " Automatic" from the dropdown menu--->then click on start

button--> click on OK--->close the servies window--> Now try to install the

application.
