Odd search results Closed

Question

Hello, 
 When I do a search in the google field on the top right of my firefox page, the correct search comes up, but when I click on any of the results I do not go to the site listed. They look like unsafe sites. One was about peanut butter and other odd things. 


Configuration: Windows XP/ Firefox 3.6.6

Please consider checking whether the firewall is not causing this difficulty, please have it deactivated as well as any parental controls.
