Hello,
Try re-installing your graphics drivers and then try to change the screen
resolution. You can download the drivers from the manufacture website.
Click on the below link and download the drivers.

Note: Some devices may not function properly if the drivers are installed out of
order. For more information click on the below link.

Install the Chipset drivers first and then Video Adapter drivers.
