Messenger not working

Everytime i try to sign messenger on, it tells met hat there is an error and closes automatically, i am so frustrated, have sent the report to microsoft what do i do

Dear Shelby,

Please consider restoring your system to a date where the application was working correctly so that the missing or corrupted files' problem get solved.
