D drive "access denied"

i have absolutely no idea what happened,,,,was working fine one day and then all of a sudden it was denying me,,,,,my whole life is on that drive,,,,its my backup drive,,,,,i even have Norton360,,,,can sumone help me pleeeezzzzzz

Log on to your computer as administrator. Right click the d: drive and then select "sharing and security...". Click on "security
" then "advanced" then "owner". In the "change owner to:" box select the "administrators" for your computer. Click the box to "Replace owner on subcontainers and objects". That should just about do it. Hope it works for you, let me know.
right click and choose search
get out what you need and back it up
i mean right click on the removable disk
