Computer wont start Closed

Question

Hello, 

have a compaque computer that just flashes the green on light once when I try to start it and then goes off...

Does anyone know how to make it start...or what is going on?

Configuration: Windows 7 / Safari 533.4

Dear Bill, 

Please provide more information about whether there is any beep sounds. The problem might be coming from the RAM slot, motherboard or power supplying unit. Please confirm the matter for further help.
