Hello, i have 2 hard drives on my computer, one 120GB and another 80GB. both worked fine for a Long time. recently sometimes when i start my computer, the computer only detects the primary drive.
I tried opening the cabinet and pressing some plugs around and that seemed to have fixed things. But the problem keeps recurring and taking out and replugging doesnt work anymore.
I cant format my drive because there are important stuff on it. Please help if you know the answer.

Hello,

Check all your connections (IDE Cable & Power Connection) once again.

If the problem still exists, try another IDE Cable.

Good Luck.

This could be a sign that the hard drive is failing. These drives are probably over 7 years old and should be replaced.

Good Luck
