hi, i had a problem with my laptop,  i am trying to reformat it or re install windows , coz it keeps on restarting or shut off, please help me , how can i reformat it or re install windows xp if it is always keeps on restarting or shuts off it only shows the logo of the brand of my laptop it only shows SHARP and then shuts off and it continue doing it on and off sometimes power LED is on but there is no activity please help me guys

Please consider inserting the installation cd and booting from cd.

Hello,

Try this 1.

1)Clean all the vents, blow out with canned air. Never run your laptop on bag & 

bed. Laptop Sides, back and bottom must be clear. 

2) Remove the RAM from the slot, clean it and place it back properly or try another

slot. Check your RAM also. Even bad RAM will create problems.

3) Go to BIOS and load the default settings.
