Microsorftword is failing to read word e-mail

Hello, my computer can not read e-mail that is word document as an attachment i am using microsoft word 2003, what could be a problem please help

Hi there,

The file send may be in office 2007 or 2010 format,request for the converted or open the file on another pc and save it to office 2003 version.
