Dell n5010 web cam not working [Solved/Closed]

Hello,

i have purchased a new dell inspiron 5010 lapton but when I turn on the web came it give me the message "please plug in a supported device" please help me to solve the problem

Hi there

The only place you can find the driver along with software is at http://ftp.us.dell.com/monitors/ and scroll down to the middle to

Dell_SX2210-Monitor_Webcam SW RC1.1_ R230103.exe

There is another one also, but this worked fine for me.

I have same problem... I really dont know, how to solve it. I haave updated drivers, new webcam central... still plug in supported device. Camera works only 1 of 10 system reboot :(
Please help us :)
Ofcourse one wud install drivers first then try to use device..... but in this case there is no driver available.........
but thanks to mihai prob has been solved

Dear Shabir,

You should in fact have its driver and software installed to get the device recognized and working back properly.
