cant change screen resolution Closed

Question

Hello, 

I have a acer aspire one netbook that my husband bought me for Christmas last year. I really only use it when our desktop is in use or when we want to watch a movie online on our tv.

Anyways, I can't change the screen resolution at all. It always stays on monitor 1 and wont let me use monitor 2 at all. Any ideas on how to get it to switch to monitor 2 so I can change the resolution?



Configuration: Windows xp / Internet Explorer 8.0

Please consider checking whether its graphic card driver has been correctly installed.

I would like to add that it use to change to monitor 2 until I hooked it up to my tv. After that it stayed on monitor 1. Nothing was deleted or added.
