PC to Mac music problemClosed

Question

I just recently bought a new mac and have transferred all of my music on my pc to an external harddrive. I can play the songs on my mac, but I only want to be able to play them while it is plugged into the HD because I do not want the HD memory on my new mac to be occupied by tons of music. The music is still playing even when it is unplugged, and I have no idea why the file is there still. Help?

Hi there,

When you removed the music to external device have you checked the properties of the hard drive remaining size?what is it actually and was before?Please give more information also have you made copy paste or cut paste?
