USB DISK NOT OPEN NOR FORMATE Closed

Question

Hello, 


USB Disk problem: when i try to open the USB Disk it asks me for formating and when i try to formate the message appear that window is unable to formate the disk.so its neither open nor formate. can please tell me the solution.
Configuration: Windows XP / Internet Explorer 6.0

Hello, 

Try formatting your USB Disk  from the command prompt. 

Click on Start --> Run --> Type cmd and click on OK.  

Command Prompt will be opened. 

Here I assume your USB Disk  letter as G. 

Enter this command. 

format /FS:FAT32 g: 

Press "Enter" and follow the instructions. 

Note : Don't forget to replace the letter g with your USB Disk drive letter.

Is this only error having?if not then mention them,else try formatting with hp disk formatting tool,here is download link:
