Hello, 

My pen drive does not open.When I click the link,i get please insert disk as a message and unable to open the contents please help me!!


Configuration: Windows XP / Internet Explorer 8.0

hey.....help me
whenever I plug in my pen drive and tries to open it, it says "The disk in drive H is not formatted. Do you want to format it now?" Nothing works. Same happen with each computer. I tried another storage devices and it works properly. I have a very important data in my 4gb pen drive.

Drive letter needs to be changed on system,for instructions please refer to link below:

Log in to an account having administrative privileges 

Insert your pendrive into the USB port. 

Click Start/ My computer/Manage/Disk Management 
Right click on the partition corresponding to your removable media and select 

Change Drive Letter and Paths 

Finally change the drive letter (like W: or Y:), 
It is very unusual that Windows make use of these letters.

in Disk Management the pen drive is not showing letter (like W: or Y:), 
IT IS SHOWING CAN'T OPEN SECONDARY RECOVERY TOOL. 
when I attach the pen drive to through USB port , so it detected my PC , 
but when I try to access it it show only 1 message 
'Please insert a disk into drive J:' 
,so give me Solution pls>>
