Acer Aspire 3680 Machine will not start up.

Hello,
Acer Aspire 3680 laptop does not fully start up. The screen goes black after the "Acer" screen appears and it stays that way until I turn it off.
Can someone help please.

Hi there,

Remove your battery and press the power button holding it for few seconds then seat back connecting adapter to it then power on give your feedback if this did not work for another solution to fix it.

I just tried what u suggested and it didn't work. Brand new power adapter as well
