Messenger wont work right

Hello,
i did the acer live update and my messenger now works the only problem is that all my contacts wont show up it says "Unable to add user
Unknown error (241) "
anyone any ideas y this might be??

Dear Amy,

There might be some missing or corrupt files that is making it act up like this. You should have it removed and reinstalled for it to work correctly.
