How to restore to Origional Factory Settings Closed

Hello, 

I am trying to reset my computer to its original factory settings. I do not have the restore disk.. I have an Advent 4401. Please help?


Configuration: Windows Vista / Internet Explorer 8.0

hi there,

To restore to factory default without recovery cd its possible only when you have the recovery partition still present else you need to order the recovery disk as per model online,

Thank you! So how do I find out if the recovery partition is still present? And if it is, how do I then restore it to factory settings?
