Hello, my laptop is HP pavilion dv6000. ever since I installed windows 7 ultimate edition it never gave me problems only until last week when It would give a notification,"no audio output device is installed."One thing that surprises me is that sometimes when I switch it on sound will be there and If I play anything, the media player will just stop responding and the sound will be gone again.



Configuration: Windows 7 / Safari 533.4

Please check in the Device Manager whether you need to have the sound driver updated.

in my device manger there are no sound,video and game controllers drivers.

Hello,
Try updating your BIOS and then install the chipset drivers first and then audio drivers.
