Internet page can not be displayed

Hello,
Actually i want to login to BSNL broadband with by default username :admin & password: admin .but when i type http ://ip Address of my computer ie of punjab, but the computeis in jammu ,the web browser displays the page can not be displayed

Hi Akhil,
Try running the Network Diagnostics tool in Internet Explorer to troubleshoot this issue. On the page that displays an Internet Explorer error message, click the Diagnose Connection Problems link. The Network Diagnostics tool will run and will either tell you that it did not find a problem, or it will find a problem and will walk you through steps to solve it.
Also try resetting the modem or router by disconnecting it from your computer (assuming that it's not wireless) and turning off. Restart your computer. After your computer has restarted, turn on the modem or the router, connect it to your computer, restart the computer, and start Internet Explorer.
