Hard Drive Password

Hello,


I need a password for dell latitude c840 #7TFHX11-595B. i put in admin. pw but then it asks for hard drive password and I have no clue. Please help!!

Hi there,

Its the bios password,if forgotten then you can reset the bios password by following the instructions from Faq:

when computer comes on it is a white screen that says comp. is protected by a pw authentication system. it asks for the admin pw which i put in., The same screen comes up but asking for Primary Hdd password it has the #***********595B. I have tried everything i can think of. It will shut itself off after a few tries.
