Hello, 

i got a movie dvd from a friend and its stuck in the cd drive of my desktop pc its not light the green led how i remove it i need to return the dvd its original.

Hello vijay,

Your dvd rom drive seems is not getting power,open cpu and check the power cable interchange it and see difference,if its still not working then you need to replace the drive.To remove the dvd stuck in it you need a pin and insert in the emergency hole and push,here on link below are the instructions:

Hello,

Try this 1.

1)Open your CPU cabinet and check your connections. Try connecting another 

power connector to your CD-Drive.

If there is a problem with your CD-Drive then follow the step 2.

2) Locate the small hole in the front of your CD-Drive. Insert the paperclip into 

the hole. When you feel some resistance, keep pushing the paper clip until the 

CD-Drive tray comes out. When some part of the CD-Drive tray comes out then 

use your hand to physically pull the drive tray out all of the way.

Note : Don't apply too much force when physically pulling the tray out.
