Hello,

I'm running vista 32bit on my HP dv1247 and it crashed. I tried entering safe mode but only get a black screen with mouse cursor.

I would like to do a complete restore to factory settings. How do I do that?

Hi,

Here's how to do that. Turn on your laptop, upon seeing an HP logo press F11 on your keyboard until you come onto its recovery mode. Follow its onscreen instruction.
