dv6000 laptop has key for hash sign but prints £ instead. can't find the key for hash sign. Please resolve the problem which is the key for hash sign

This should be a misprint over the keyboard keys if you are not having any problem with the other keyboard keys. There's really little possibility that there is any virus or trojan causing such kind of trouble.
