On my laptop I have windows xp and suddenly this morning i receive a message as NTLDR Missing Please press Alt Cntl Del /
Nothing happens after that, I tried using my winxp bootable CD. I am unable to reach the repair section. It stops with error and blue screen. There is no way i can find to reach the command prompt to copy the ntldr files.
I have important projects on this laptop and wish to get the files please. Kindly help this is important to me.
FIRST OF ALL OPEN BIOS OF THE LAPTOP THERE U CHANGE THE HARD DISK TYPE TO "SATA".
THEN U INSERT XP DISK THEN U CAN REPAIR.....IT WILL WORK.........100% TESTED.

BIOS is set to SATA - I have two settings one is AHCI and the other is IDE.. At the moment it is set to AHCI. Please advice further thanks again
i set the sata to ide the windows xp cd now reaches the position to format, i wish to repair and not format. I have very important files in this. kindly help thanks
