Hello,
i have an hp pavilion entertainment dv2 for almost a year, the touchpad was working properly with the windows vista but when I lately installed the windows 7 it is not working with the same quality & even the lock button function is not working at all. I wanted to check its sensitivity but it is not shown on the control panel/ mouse, what can I do to solve this problem? thanks

Hello,

Try this 1.

Click on the below link and follow the instructions.

http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/pfinder?lc=en&dlc=en&cc=us&tool=&query=+pavilion+entertainment+dv2+

Click on show all or click on "Laptops/Tablets/Netbooks" to expand it -->

Select your model --> Click on "Software and Driver Downloads" --> Select

your OS from the drop-down menu --> Double click on "Driver - Keyboard,

Mouse and Input Devices" --> Download the drivers and install it.

Good Luck.
No driver works for the dv2 Alps touchpad. There simply is no fix and HP doesn't care. They have since started put Sinaptic touch pads in their laptops. Good luck.
I got the same problem. HP just doesn't care a single bit. Even my bluetooth driver is not available!!
