Unable to acces the Internet but Wifi is work

Hello,

My laptop (Sony Viao) was working fine yesterday but now I cannot access Internet, although the wifi connection is valid and strong signal is received.

I have tried to run Windows diagnostic but it simply refers me to my manual. No error message appears. I checked the forum and tried a few things under tabs that sounded like a similar problem...but nothing is working.

I am not toally computer stupid, but close enough to be very frustrated. Desperately need to get laptop connected again, looking for a job and that is my venue for sourcing hiring companies.

Writing this from my iPhone, imagine how painful that is (small screen and key board)!!!
