HP Pavilion DV7 Black screen, fan not working

Hello,
My computer just decided to die on me and I've been trying to fix it to no avail. When I try to turn on my laptop all the LED lights flash as normal. The fan also starts to run normally but after less than a second it stops working. All the lights remain on but the screen stays black. I tried removing the battery, RAM and nothing has work. The laptop is out of warranty so im not getting any help from HP. Any help would be great!
