Laptop does not go beyond the windows XP Logo

Hello,

I am running on windows XP on an HP laptop. I uninstall Roxio System Restore since XP has its own System Restore. The uninstallation took time like 15 minutes or so, so I hit CTRL+ALT+DEL to stop the uninstallation from running via the task manager. I turned off my laptop and the next time I turned it on, I see a blank screen after the windows XP logo.

SAFE MODE and all other options doesn't work as well. And resetting doesn't help me either.

What should I do?

You may need to do a Windows Repair/Install from the CD. You will find instruction here: http://www.michaelstevenstech.com/XPrepairinstall.htm
