Blue screen of death, wont reboot Closed

Question

Hello, 

I get the blue screen  before it switches to the menu screen asking to start in safe mode, last known config, or normally. No matter which option I choose, I first get the windows XP screen before it switches back to the menu screen. I cant get any further.

What can I do?

Configuration: Windows XP / Internet Explorer 7.0

You might need to reinstall Windows or you may have a failing hard disk.
