Microsoft Word trouble-PLEASE HELP!

Hello,
I have to edit a letter for school that must be turned in tomorrow. The school uses Microsoft Office 2003 I think, it might be 2007. My laptop uses Office 2000. When I open the document, it appears as a bunch of blocks, and weird script. How do get it to show normal? ANY suggestions would be EXTREMELY appreciated.

download a new version of office.
Or download the fonts.
That boxes shows tat your office cannot detect what you gave, in that sense, you upgrade a new Microsoft office
