Installation of windows 2003 in Dell inspiron

Hi,

I want to install Windows 2003 in Dell inspiron Core i5 processor (N5010) with windows 7 home premium. I called the dell customer care to know whether this processor will support the dual booting of both windows 2003 and windows 7. But they said that they have not tested it and its upto our risk.

So friends, can anyone faced this kind of issue? Did anyone install windows 2003 for the above configuration said? Because I want to install SAP in my windows 2003 server edition.

Please help me out. If it wont support, please suggest any latest configuration available which supports the installation of windows 2003.

your hardware configuration is more than capable of carrying any MS OS. You'll need to install the 2003 as a dual-boot setup. Im not sure how that's done with Win7, but I do know that XP Pro and 2003 will work just fine in dual boot just fine.
