Can't find my files

hi.
I formatted my computer on yesterday, and when I'd been looking for the old
programs, pictures, music, videos, etc. I did not find them. how can I find
those programs that I had before, before I formatted my computer? Help please.

You formatted. How did you format. I just want to make sure that we are talking about the same thing.

What is you operating system? Did you need to reinstall it?
